Guidance for every stage of high school

For high-school students (13 and up) preparing for college. Parents and counselors can review. Essay help is feedback and brainstorming — we do not write essays for you.

Two stages, one account

Start where you are

Grade 9 through first half of grade 11

Vantage Foundations

Explore your interests, understand your strengths, and make thoughtful choices about classes, activities, and experiences. Vantage Foundations helps you develop a meaningful high-school journey without turning every decision into an admissions calculation.

We meet you in 9th grade, bank four years of your story — then spend it when it matters most.

Middle of grade 11 through grade 12

Vantage Applications

Bring your experiences together and prepare for the college application process. Vantage Applications helps you develop your strategy, organize your college list, identify the stories that matter, and strengthen your essays while keeping the work authentically yours.

Starting as a senior? A few honest questions rebuild your story fast — so every essay starts from who you are, never from a blank page.

How it works

One counselor, all four years. It starts in 9th grade with a conversation — and by the time you apply, it remembers everything that shaped you.

Grades 9–11 · Foundations

ConversationStoryActivitiesRoadmapSpark

Talk with your counselor, and everything builds itself: your story takes shape, your activities gain depth, your roadmap fits your grade, and a monthly Spark reflection banks the raw, true material most students wish they had written down.

Grade 12 · Applications

ProfileStrategyEssaysRound Table

Build a balanced list with real odds, commit to your early round, write every essay with coaching that knows your story — then convene the Round Table for a full-committee read of your application, school by school.

Why the years matter: a counselor who has known you since 9th grade remembers the small stuff — the month you changed your mind, the project that flopped, the thing you fixed and never mentioned again. That's what shapes how you see the world and how you express yourself. When essay season comes, your counselor brings all of it to the table — your reflections become essay ideas, your threads become your story.

What you do here

Build your story

Insight Questions and Story Builder help you find the experiences that matter — so later essays start from your own material, not a blank page.

Keep a college list

Organize schools and strategy in one place as you move from exploration into applications.

Essay feedback, not ghostwriting

AI helps you brainstorm and revise. It does not write essays for you. Submitting generated text as your own work can violate a college's integrity rules.

Invite a parent or counselor

Share drafts for review when you want a second set of eyes. Each student keeps their own account.

Private, and free to start

Your essays are not used to train AI models. Traffic is encrypted, and your work stays in your account.

Create an account for free. AI features have monthly usage caps. Obtain a one-time code for access.
